Attempted Craigslist Ripoff Phoney Check

Mr Smith/Jankiewicz contacted me (E-Mail) about a Harley Davidson I have posted on Craigslist. He agreed to the purchase price ($14,000) and informed me he would send a certified check for the purchase. Terms of the sale (clearly posted in my ad) require cash or Wire transfer ONLY.

Well it seems he (Smith) totally deceided to ignore this fact. He sent me the worst looking Company check (computer generated) via UPS. This check was drawn on a company named Vitech Systems Group in New York city NY. The amount of this check was for $2750 - not the asking nor agreed price for the bike.

The UPS overnight Saturday Delivery label was in the name of:
Kelvin Slade
225 Broadway
Davenport AR. 72121

Note the zip code does not match up with the town. I pulled the tracking info off UPS web site and package was mailed in Columbus GA. (UPS Atlanta Hub)
Smith/Jankiewicz wanted me to cash the check and send him back the funds minus the cost of the WU fees. The idiot didn't even offer me money for my time and effort. No mention was ever made about the original purchase price, nor what the $2750 was for, except to say it was for his shipping agent (s)

This Clown isn't even smart enough to cover the different names nor addresses on all his dealings. I would think the FBI should be able to grap this boob pretty easy. Question is, according to all I've read here on this site... He's been at this for years. Why hasn't the law done anything about him?
