Lying, Cheating, Rotten Scumbag!

My daughter ordered a transmission from Mike on Jan 5th. I paid for it with a debit card. The shipping never happened until I pestered the heck out of Mike and we finally recieved the transmission late in Feb. It was the wrong transmission. Under instruction of Mike, I paid the installer to purchase and install a different flywheel which would make the trans work. It worked but only for two or three days then died.

Mike spoke to the installer who confirmed the trans was junk and agreed to refund my money. Here we are on April 29th and no refund yet. Mike returned one of my many calls a couple weeks ago and said "I'm going to the post office right now to send your check". The check never came.

I caught him by phone another time and he said he was going to overnight the payment and he would call me right back with the tracking number. That never happened.

Now, I'm out the cost of the transmission, the cost of installation, plus the cost to pull the trans out, change the flywheel to make the wrong year trans work, and then install it again. Does that make sense?

After contacting the BBB I found that this guy has over 90 complaints! How can such a crook be allowed to stay in business? I think we should all get together like a lynch mob and show up at his office. We'll drag him outside and beat him nearly to death and leave him lying in a mound of fire ants. After that we'll chop off fingers one by one to teach him a real lesson about stealing.

By the way, just to let you know how a scumbag like this is protected, the police won't do anything to him because he physically sent me a product. It doesn't have to be the right one and it can be junk but as long as he sent me something for my money, he's protected. Nice system!
