Yonkers Honda
Charged $388.83 to rotate 4 tires

Cars & Transport

On April 20, I had called Yonkers Honda and quoted the price for 112,500 miles service and service advisor told me that it will cost $200.

According to Honda's 2001 Owner's Manual, on page 241 (Maintenance) 112,500 miles requires to perform items A (Replace oil and rotate tires). I told the service advisor that I do not need the oil change because I had done it recently, somewhere else. Thus, the service should be done as to rotate tires and reset maintenance light on dashboard.

The Honda's advisor however, told me that I had skipped 105,000 miles maintenance and thus have to do it now. I believed him; however, when I got home I checked my files and found that in April I had performed the maintenance for 105,000/7years (whichever comes first) with Honda Yonkers and was charged $682.98.

Also, I noticed in the Invoice that the Yonkers Honda service advisor performed 45,000 miles service and charged me $388.83. I had called The Yonkers Honda and spoke to manager. First, he denied my request for refund and told me that even the Supreme Court would not help me to get my money back, however, and then he agreed to refund me $100 and provide 2 free oil changes. I disagreed on the amount and notified him that I will contact the Better Business Bureau and my credit card.
