Glow plugs damaged

I've a 1986 ford diesel truck that i required into there store to obtain my glow plugs transformed, they broke off two glow plugs now they tell me they can't do the repair. They did the damage and i respected there support however now i am not sure when they can repair the problem or if it'll effect the engine by any means. I believe they did they damage they ought to repair it. Perhaps i ought to but a chevy the next time around.
