Holding Car Hostage for Repairs Not Authorized

I took my car in 1/07/09 and received estimate 1/14. Estimate was higher than car was worth, so Luis Hutado (an employee @ Precision Collision Center) told me they would fix my vehicle & resell for as much as possible.in return I would receive $1000.00 by 4.06. They were banking that it would get a price of $2500 or more & they'd make a profit of $1500.00.

In the meantime I contacted the business asking if I could get $200 towards what they owed me since I'm not working at the moment & need the $. Louis did give me $200.

Then, all sorts of drama ensued. The owner claimed Louis stole the car. The owner, Daniel Saft would not return calls. Then, his "secretary" kept harassing me from her cell phone... Was very strange. It is not my problem if the car was stolen from his business. The secretary wanted me to take the car from their employee's home-crazy.

Just yesterday I received a lien sale notice on the vehicle. I can't believe this! I never approved of these repairs to be done & I would pay. I only approved that by 4/06 I would get $1000 for the release of my title to this business. That the business would fix the car & resell.
