I took my bike to the dealership to have repairs completed due to Heat & Smoke damage. The bike was dropped off on 1/24/09. The dealership refused to work with the insurance company as they wanted to overcharge them. I finally was able to work out a solution and I gave the dealership a deposit to order the parts. They made numerous promises of when the bike would be finished. Finally on Friday, 3/27 I called and was told that the bike was ready - they just needed to take it for a test drive. I arrived on Saturday, 3/28 to pick it up. I paid the balance that was due, then to be told that the bike wasn't ready. My first question is how can they close out the Repair Order when the work wasn't complete? I had to wait an hour for the repairs to be completed. Once I returned home, I gave the bike a look over. I discovered that they only replaced one saddlebag, even though both were damaged. However, the one saddlebag they did replace - wasn't new - it was used. A $105.00 for a used saddle bag. Apparently the dealership doesn't know how to take care of customers. There was another customer who was protesting in front of the dealership, informing people not to buy from them or have your bike serviced. Not sure of the problems this customer had but it just proves that there is a problem here.
