Courtesy Kia - A Doesn't Pay Off Trade-In... Ruins your credit! A

I visited Courtesy Kia in Alliance Ohio in October. After finding a car that I liked, I traded in my current car as a down payment.

I completed the paperwork and handed them a check for $1500 to go along with the trade in of my current car.

After receiving several phone calls from the bank that had the loan on my previous car, asking me for payments, I made calls and found out that Courtesy had never paid off my previous car!

It is now the end of March My credit report shows that I am 6 months past due on a car that I haven't owned since October 8th! My fiance and I are having a baby in September and are looking for a house. We can't get a home because my credit has been ruined by these crooks.

Everytime I call them they pass the buck onto someone else. They put you on hold and then hang up on you, they lie constantly "it'll be paid by this Friday" Mind you that comment was made to me in January. I am now being contacted by a credit union demanding that I pay off the car loan. I am now paying on a new car and don't own the old car. It's funny how fast they cashed my $1500 check though.

I have filed a police report and have been in contact with the attorney general. They have numerous reports for the same thing happening to hundreds of people.

Half of the people that I have been talking to over the past 6 months at this dealership have disappeared. Maybe they realized what a horrible place it was and decided to bail. However, it has left people like me, with no one to turn to.

This dealership is a complete sham. They take advantage of people and ruin their credit. My fiance and I will now have to raise our child in a small apartment building because they have ruined my credit so badly that I can't get a house.

Stay away from these crooks!!
