They want give me any help

I lost my job due to the economy layoffs at the company where i worked. I phoned Wells Fargo the day after i got layed off and asked them if there was any way they would be willing to work with me on my vehicle loan, i offered to try and make half the payment or just pay the interest until i could get back to work and they told me that since i had not been with them at least 9 mths that there was nothing they could do to help me. I purchased this car in May and would have been with this company 9mths in Feb. Until i had to let this car go back because they wouldn't work with me i had excellent credit and now i don't. I just think that with the shape of the economy today that they should have worked with me on this matter, after all they did recieve bailout money but yet they are not willing to help their customers.
