Klean Kar Wash

I went to the above stated place of business for a car wash. But instead I got ripped off!

Late January early February, I took my vehicle to be washed and waxed. I had a diamond earring, a parking decal and some change in the ashtray; as I had gone out a couple nights before and emptied my wallet for the sake of space. Not thinking of thieves, I took my car to be washed. It took 3 hours for them to complete and once I entered my car, the door well on the driver's side still had trash inside, but after 3 hours, I was ready to go, so I left.

Once I arrived, about 3.5 hours later, I went to pull the parking decal from my vehicle to affix it to the windshield and it along with my earring and the change were missing. All things being equal, I really didn't care about the change and the parking decal, but the diamond earring... I journeyed to the car wash the next day, on Sunday, to inquire as to what, if anything could be done. As I suspected, the 19 year old inept manager called her boss on the phone and explained the situation. Without so much as an apology, or an offer to refund the $48.94 for the car wash and the wax, he stated that they're not responsible for lost or stolen items. He stated this policy (policy no less) was on display and there was nothing he could/would do. Mind you the 'policy' is not seen until you have relinquished your vehicle and are inside the establishment, but I digress. The owner refused to speak to me on the phone and didn't come to the place of business until I contacted the police for an official police report.

So unless you want items stolen from you vehicle and still have to pay for service, stay clear away from this place Klean Kar Wash!!!
