This is a follow up to the poor customer service that I received on March 29 at Store 94 in Missouri City. This will be an indepth account of what occurred prior to and including my visit on March 29th.

I have been a customer of Just Brakes for approximately 3 years. I have had all vehicles owned by me serviced at Store #94 when needed. However, this particular complaint is in regard to the service that I received on the 2001 Buick LeSabre.

In October my husband went in and had brake service done at the cost of approximately $450. We were told that in the future we would need additional work. We were very satisifed with the service that we received on that date.in February I returned to Store 94 to have my brakes checked and was told that it was time for the additional service (which I had done), costing approximately $500.

Total cost for the brake job on the 2001 Buick LeSabre was now approximately $950. When I left the store in February, I had to return immediately (same day) because something was not done right and was making a loud clanking noise. I went back, and that problem was fixed. I noticed that my brakes became to squeak again and a loud rubbing sound would occur whenever I put on brakes. I went into the store on March 29 and spoke to Louis (who is always very nice and has great customer service mannners).

Louis said that he would check out the brakes and then let me know if I needed a softer brake pad. I told him that I could not stay, but would bring the car back in the afternoon. He then told one of his employees to ride with me to see what type of problems that I was having.

This is where the trouble begins.

This particular employee (name unknown) and I began to walk towards my vehicle. First, of all his clothes were geasey. I had to tell him to get something to put on my seat and floor. If I didn't do that, he would have just gotten in my car the way he was. This should have been an indicaton to me of where his "mind was." NOT ON HIS WORK!!!

He began to ask me what the problem was, and I told him that I had had a complete brake job performed there in the last six months and that my brakes was still squeaking. He immediately began to tell me that it must be my tires and asked me if I had had my tires rotated. I told him that I just purchased new tires and the tires had been rotated a week earlier.

As we continued to ride, he began to YELL AND SCREAM AT ME. Saying things like "so, you think you are a mechanic. You can't tell me my job." i got very upset and scared. I told him that I would take him back to the store, because I didn't want to deal with him. He said that I could let him out right there, I IMMEDIATELY PULLED OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE STREET AND LET HIM OUT.

This was the most awful experience i had ever had to deal with. I was extremely scared. I don't know if this employee had a bad attitude because he didn't want to be at work, or what. But, i do know that they way i was treated, no one should have been treated that way.

I went back to the store and talked to Louis. However, upon my return to the store, I believe that Louis was talking to this employee. Because there were customers in the store, Louis asked me to come out to the bay. I did and told him what had happened and that I was going to call the corporate office (customer service). He said that he understand and gave me the number to corporate office.

I immediately called the 1-800 number that Louis gave me and left two messages. On Monday, March 31, Louis called me back and asked me what could he do to make the situation right. I told him that I just wanted my car repaired. He asked me if I would bring my car in there, initially I said yes, and then after thinking about it, I decided that I didn't want my car to be at the location where this employee worked. I then called Louis back and he said that I could get my car repaired at the store on Richmond and Fondren. I am scheduled to go there on Saturday to get my car repaired. However, I am very unhappy with the type of service that your company has shown me.

Prior to this incident I really relied on the quality of service that I received from Just Brakes. As indicated above, I stated that I had been a customer for 3 years. However, after this incident, I will never recommend anyone to Just Brakes. This event was TERRIFYING to say the least.

I then called customer service again because I wanted to speak with someone in corporate office. My complaint is this, if my car cannot be repaired properly and without any problems, I expect to receive a FULL REFUND OF ALL FUNDS PAID BY ME.

This is to put you on notice that this is what I fully expect to happen. I have called Chris at 214.276.7622, however, we have been playing telephone tag all day. Please make this a part of your permanent records.

Again, I believe that Louis treated me professionally and with courtesy.
