My wife and I have been saving for 2 years for a new car when the time was right. This weekend we saw an ad for a car we wanted. The advertised price in the Sunday Globe was 18,899. We called to confirm the specs and the car was available for that price. We were set to buy the car and when we told them we were going to pay cash, they said they wouldn't sell it to us for that price. They wanted 3,000 more dollars for cash. I found the whole experience was unpleasant and unfair to the consumer.
