I purchased Owner Guard Gap insurance 4 years ago. My car was stolen and I made a claim. They asked for ridiculous amount of paper work that is very redundant, that you must provide. They will not even look at your claim unless they get all of the paper work.

Once it's time to pay the claim which takes a min of 30 days or more, they would try to say that you have deferred payments, skip payments, late payments or delinquent payments which is anything over 30 days are not covered under your contract.

I have sent owner guard my payment history 3 times and showed them where the payment was made and they still have not paid my claim. I also gave them a contact number for Wachovia dealer services who sold me the policy and they wouldn't bother to even call. Wachovia is who my car is financed through and they have confirmed the payments were made.

When I try to speak to a supervisor they keep transferring me to his voice mail Ed Dixon who would not return my phone call. I have talked to another supervisor christopher who says there's nothing he can do, but transfer me to Ed who would never return my phone call.

I asked if there are any other mangers and they replied no. This is bad business, I believe they would try to do anything to not pay your claim or short pay your claim. I bought coverage to be covered and that is not what I'm getting.
