Husband lost his job and CPS was kind enough to not repo our little car [I chalk it up to the econmy and we are sooo lucky right now] yet am very thankful. However, we scraped up a full payment for a late Jan. Payment, however, needed to pay it in two separate transactions and [apparently due to their setup] on 2 separate days [? ] so we did this.

Day 1
1. They charged the first card on the first day and added an extra $10 processing fee but didn't tell us until they already ran our card and confirmed the charged amount. So we asked for it to be returned or voided or canceled so that we can move our money around and pay only 1 $10 amount and the answer was absolutely NO; it's already completed.

Day 2
2. I called back first thing the next morning and they charged the second card with another $10 for the debit processing fee. So, good... Our payments were complete.

3. I checked both accounts to confirm the payments were deducted immediately/same day and they were. Yet... They charged both cards with an odd $1 and change charges that I did not authorize nor was told about.

Day 3
4. The next business day, I called in and spoke with a representative at CPS and asked what payments had been made and she told me of the $1 and change charges. I said thankyou and hung up. After thinking about this, I called again and spoke with the lady who ran our second payment and she 'said' she could find nothing about it. I explained that a CPS rep. That I just spoke with already confirmed it. She still said it was not there, but to fax her the documentation. I called again... And another rep. Refused to cooperate and turned it around on me instead of providing any customer service. I, then called to speak with DAN the Supervisor who set up the payment with us [by the way, he knew nothing of how their payment methods are set up... It was all try as you go]
I left a message for him to call me and I have yet to recieve a call. [I have left 2 messages with no call back]
I tried again to attempt to get another rep. Who could see those little charges but I was hung up on promptly.

Day 4
5. Looked up my accounts and found that the $1 charges had mysteriously vanished from both of my accounts [though can still be cerified that they were deducted]. But... Now... CPS charged my second card an additional payment. [same payment taken out on two different days]... YIKES!..

6. I call into CPS first thing in the morning after finding this out and as soon as I get a representative on the phone and tell her I have a question about my account she hangs up on me. I call again, hung up on AGAIN! I call the Supervisors [DAN] line [have it from last time] and the phone picks up and then hangs up! I call probably for the next 45 mins. To get hung up on over and over and put on hold without response. I call again before their closing hour at aroung 6:30 [of which I though was 8pm] and I get the automated phone that tells me they are closed.

7. I call the payment 888-469-4520 number and am on hold with the automated system telling me to wait for a representative for almost an hour!

8. Now... I have faxed my documentation and proof of wrong charges to my accounts with documentation of examples of the poor customer service to that lady [Francis] with hopes that she will be the one good soul to reach out and grasp confrontation by the horns and just talk to me and help me rectify this second charge.

I am completely apalled at the absolute unprofessional manner in which they conduct business. I have a strong feeling that they will not be around much too longer...[if they're smart]
