2196 Oil change rip off

I took my 2003 Dodge Neon for an oil change. After getting the oil recommended by the so called technicians there, the 37.50 oil change ended up costing me almost 95.00 but I ASSUMED they knew what they were talking about and never said anything. Shoprtly after I left, the check engine light came on, then, a few days later, the check oil light. Since i had just had the oil changed, i knew it could not be low on oil. I took it back and after a less than 5 minute inspection by one of their so called mechanics, I was told that the engine was leaking oil bad. But they also said that the oil level was full.

Supposedly, when they had changed the oil the first time, they had inspected it and there was no mention of the oil leak at that time. All the problems occoured withing a week of having the oil changed. The manager was extremely rude and basicly told me it was my tough luck and they had no intention of doing anything else about it. However, i have a lawyer and plan to see what legal action can be taken.

In the meantime i would STRONGLY advise anyone considering having an oil change or any other type of automotive work done to avoid these people like the plague. They are RIP OFF ARTISTS who do not give a DAMN about their customers. If you go you WILL be ripped off by these thieves.
