Dallas Texas repoed a car without notifying the owner it was behind other person was driving and paying the car

I purchased a car in my name for my relative. Drive financial knew this they had all of my contact information. My relative was unable to pay for the car the car was repoed noone ever contacted me about the situation. I found out that the car was repoed after a month. I contacted drive financial they gave me the number to the auto auction to see if the car had been sold it had not

So i called them back and asked them to let me please pay the amount past due and allow me to pick the car up and continue with the scheduled payments. They refused, I told them that noone contacted me from their company by mail or phone to even let me know the car was behind, I had no warning of the situation. I feel that by drive financial knowing that I was the person that contracted auto that they should have contacted me before they repoed it and allowed me to bring it current in payments. This is a on my credit now I just dont feel its right.
