Aamco Transmissions
Did work on my car without providing me with an estimate or my written consent

I had Aamco to tow my car to there shop to have them to check it out and give me an estimate. They kept the car for 3 days without contacting me to give me the estimate, so I called them and they said, "They would call me back by the end of the day. Did'nt happen!

I waited 2 more days and decided to go there to see what was going on. I asked them for the estimate on my car and was told $1,800 and change! I then opted to not have them do the work. Only to be told that I would still have to pay them $600.00 just for checking it out!

I never agreed to that or was ever told that prior to them, "giving me an estimate" Nor did I ever sign anything. I am most certain that this is an unfair business practice and illegal!

And to make matters worse I have been renting a car since they been holding my car that is costing me $32.00 a day.
