P&S Transmissions John Petrovich, "Big John" is "Bad For Business"

It was interesting to see in writing what I had known all along. John Petrovich has been ripping people off for some time.

I was a salesman for a very large company and was contacted by John Petrovich about his need to purchase an automated parts washer for his new transmission shop in Menifee approximately 4-5 years ago. Well, John said he wanted a used one for a good "out-the door-price". I gave him a price and told him that he wasn't the only prospective buyer.in short another customer came to the table and bought it. He beacame irate.

John then ordered 2 state of the art solvent parts washers, which I placed in his shop on a trial basis (for free), until he got his business up an running. This was at his request. He also signed a service contract for them to confirm his terms. I was finally able to place the equipment in service, collect a check for the installation, and I even gave John some additional parts solvent for free to place in his tear-down work bench to seal the deal.

He was very difficult to work with and keep on track. Well John never paid another cent towards the equipment rental, and even tried to divert attention away from this fact by calling my corporate headquarters to say that I had sold him the solvent for $20 cash. I was not hurting for cash, and would never have put my family at risk by losing a very good paying job.

John stole 2 very nice pieces of equipment valued at approximately $2,700 each and even put his business name on them.

It's sad to see actual "Business Customers" being treated with such disregard. This is also very bad for other Ethical, small business professionals who know that for every John Petrovich out there, there will be an increasing number of customers keeping their vehicles out of small business shops.

I have vowed that wherever I go in sales, that I would never do business with John again, and that I would let it be known what a crook he is.

Way to go John, how can you rip off the very people who pays your bills?
