Applys false debt to credit report

I recently checked my otherwise good credit report to find a 1,226.00 debt that I had no Idea about. It was placed their falsely by some company called road one which I have never heard of. This is ridiculous I am outraged that this type of fraud goes on. I have attempted to dispute this information but have not received any recent results. The crazy thing is I have not even lived in California for over 3 years and their saying this debt was incurred in September of 08. Huge rip off here!!
