Extnded warranty on truck downpayment rip-off!

I purchased an extende warranty on my 99 ford diesel pick-up on 2/19/08. After recieving the contract and showing it to a dealer service representative, we decided there were too many ways ffor the company to get out of paying for repairs.

I cancelled my contract by phone and was told I had to do it in writing later in another call, so I sent a letter. I contacted them by phone many times trying to get back my $300 downpayment. I was given all types of excuses and was hung-up on.

I contacted a private attorney and the washington state atorney general. Southern warranty trust has refused to answer phone calls and letters about my case.

I was told by people at the company that they have many complaints and other people trying to get money back. The company is a rip-off!!!

Please let everyone know so maybe they won't get taken by them like I did.
