I had a bad experience with the place i rented a car from in miami.initially, when i picked up the car i received good friendly service. I also called them once during the trip to extend the rental and that went smooth too. When I returned the car it was a different story.
I was told that the car had "excessive sand" that it would "cost me alot of money" to clean it and it would take him "two hours" to clean the car. I have pics of the interior of the car when i returned it. I wish I could post them here. The sand was not "excessive" at all. The guy was making a huge deal about nothing.
So my options were: pay him "a lot of money" on top of the over $600 I was already paying for the car or go to a car wash and clean it myself. I opted for the latter.
I went to car wash down the street. This turned out to be a huge inconvenience. I waited over an hour to have the car washed and vacuumed.
I returned the car and payed the $615 dollars for the rental. A few days later I noticed a unauthorized debit from my account from them. They took the "alot of money" anyway.
Highly unethical and unauthorized! Do not rent a car from them!
