Buy used and you'll be up the creek

I bought a used 2002 PT Cruiser on Dec. 20th and the transmission went out on Dec. 26th of the same year (less than a week). The check hadn't even cleared the bank before the car broke down. They wouldn't pay for towing or any repairs; even though the sale was "As Is" you would expect more from a so called reputable dealer.

Initially I couldn't get any manager to call me; he only called after I sent an email to them through their website. The only reason he called was to tell me to bring the loaner car back, no apology, just attitude as if it were my fault. The only thing they offered was the loaner car but as soon as I pulled the car out of there to take it to an affordable shop, they demanded the car back immediately.

I never asked for anything free, I expected to pay for parts at least but they pretty sold me junk with their so called 20 point inspection (which I was never able to get a copy of). Really poor customer service and a total and complete rip off! Beware of Trussville Mazda, they'll smile when they get your money but that's all you'll get... Oh, and probably a broke down car in a week.
