If I don't make this payment a Civil Action will be filed against me today, plus my salary will be garnished!

A person by the name of Kathleen started calling me 1 week ago, leaving messages that there is a Civil complaint against me from HSBC. When I returned her call she stated that I must make payment today (it was always make payment today whenever I or my daughter called her.) Today I am writing this report because she hung up on myself and my daughter (we were on a 3-way conference call) because I did not agree with the payment plan she scheduled for me and my daughter to pay by December 31st (the amount of $969) to bring us up current. I flatly told her I do not have it, plus how come I have not received anything in writing? She said she has sent out several letters to me, I have not received anything in the mail. I didn't even know the name of the company until I asked her today for the name of them. When I told her I do not have it, and will not be sending it, she said, "Excuse me?" I stated what I said once again, and she said "Well then I am going to file against you today!" I told her to go ahead, and she hung up on us.
