Sold a defective 2003 STS Cadillac to me even though GM knew of the defect

Cars & Transport

I purchased a 2003 STS Cadillac in October. The auto has several defects: one, when the temperture changes while the car is on climate control a loud noise (similar to a fog horn) comes on unexpectantly.

In other words the very loud noise comes on intermitently— I can't anticipate it. The noise is startling to me the driver.in fact I consider it dangerous because it diverts my attention; two, when I select the heating mode for one's feet the defrost comes on for the area above the dash and at the side window vents. I've had the car into the service department where I purchased the car on more than twelve occassions. I've been told each time that they can't fix the defect, then ask me to patient and state that GM is working on a solution.

My car is in the service department again today because I need futher documentation (four service attempts) to show that the car is defective in order to proceed with getting the car repurchased under the lemon law.

By the way, the woman in GM's buiness office who told me she would help me turned out to be of no help.in fact I consider the interaction a waste of time and to top it off she was " short" and rude the last time we spoke, February 19th.
