This is the date I found the I had an out standing bill at credit agency for a brake job that goes as follows:

Comments: I had rear brakes done, I drove the van for a couple of wks w / the r-rear seal leaking, adding brake fluid as I needed. I did this til I could afford to take in for the repair.

Repair was made, paid bill, 172.57. After about 3 days to a week later I called the shop, I was getting a scraping or rubbing noise when I applied the brakes (from the r-rear). They said yes we used the old shoes, they had some brake fluid on them but the sound should go away. I took there word for it although I did want and at the point I went in required a complete brake job, I drove the van for another couple of weeks w / no improvement.

I then scheduled it in for the correction, (to this day I dont know if new shoes were actually installed.)

I was working so I sent my daughter w/asigned check, thinking it may cost alittle more or something. My daughter said the shop said nothing, she didnt sign anything, they said thank you gave her the keys-she was off.

One year later, without a phone call, in Apr./08 mailing or even a knock on my door, a bill for 220.00 ends up in collection. Ijust found out in July/08. I tried working w / them to find out why the charges were so outrages but they insisted it was legit.

Since - I had to spend 30.00 to have another shop add and bleed brake because when my daughter picked it up the resevoure was half empty and therefor the brakes were soft. The mech. Said it was because there was air in the lines.

The noise was still there so I paid another mech. To adj. The rear brakes.

To top it off My wife and two kids took this van to Ohio, got to go 400 miles and wife franticaly calls me about a thumping. They pulled over, findind a station about to close. With finding the problem - Ken's did'nt tighten the wheels when doing the brakes.
