And Staff Tried to scare into 4 new tires

Just Beware or FYI: On my way to work a month ago while it's pouring rain, I get a blow out in my rear driver's side tire. I get off on 196th in Lynnwood and call AAA. After the spare was put on I asked to Tow Operator where the nearest tire store was and he told me Les Schwab was down the street and Discount Tire was just a bit further, stupid me, went to Les Schwab the closet store as I didn't want to drive on the spare. I just wanted a rear tire and get to work. The girl at the counter came in with the "I have bad news for you" line. She said: All four tires are shot, not even legal and we CAN'T let you drive out of here like this! At this same time she is printing an invoice for four new tires to the tune of $1100.00. She said your other rear tire isn't legal at all... I looked at her and to her surprise I said I wanted to look at it. I went back into the shop and conferred with the tire guy who said I still had some tread on it. I just wanted to get the blown tire fixed and get out of there so I could get into work. I ended up with an expensive tire as they claimed they only had 2 kinds in stock. I felt like they were trying to scare into new tires by lying about how bad my tread wear was and were unsympathectic to the fact that I had just had a blow out and needed to get it taken care of as soon as possible and was completely surprised that this girl was trying to "put me away". Funny thing, after I asked to see my tire, which I am sure she wasn't expecting me to do, she vanished and I didn't see her again while I was waiting for the new tire to be put on...

I will never go there again, for anything! Should have gone a little further down the street to Discount Tire, I hear they are great to work with and have a huge and affordable selection of tires...
