Public Motors
A great deal will often cost too much at Public Motors, Santa Ana

Cars & Transport

I had no idea walking on the lot of Public Motors was going to be like walking into the lion's den. They are the most conniving bunch of hoodlums in suits. Front the start, they cover up their greedy smirks with smiles trying to entice a false sense of warmth. They advertise their business as a public auction ready to cut the customer a great deal. What they are actually is cutting the throat of the eager buyer willing to get a great deal.

As soon as I walked onto the lot, I was quickly met by a quick talking salesperson. As soon as I knew it, they had charitably fed my children and sat them in their nice waiting area. They wanted me all to themselves that is to corner me into a deal that was too good to be true (so I thought). I hesitated on purchasing a car, letting the dealer know that I was starting USC and did not want to get strapped down into payments.

I told him that I was a single parent, worked two part time jobs and attending school full time. No matter how hard I resisted, my salesperson recruited others on his team to convince me to walk off with a car. The more I showed a disinterest, the more they lowered their price. They were ruthless. They finally gave me a price that I could afford on a beautiful looking Jeep.

Days after purchasing my car, the engine light went on. I took it back to the dealership who said that it just needed to be reset. After taking time off school and work, the problem was fixed. A week later, the engine light went on again. I returned once more, missing another day of school and work to drop off the car. I was given a rental and off I went. Having to take another day off school and work to pick up my car, I refused to accept it because the transmission was rattling. They manager said that it was all in my mind and send me on my way.

A week later, the engine light went back on and I had to return it. Once again, I missed another day of school and work. I was given a rental and had to wait a week. After receiving my car again, I found out that they stiffed me on the rental cost. The Santa Ana Manger, Richard, refused to pay for the rental. I am currently in dispute with them.

On top of all that their claim on the Blue Book value of the car was false. They are incapable of being truthful!

BEWARE OF PUBLIC MOTORS Their lots are full of shiesty dealers trying to peddle their incompetent cars on unsuspecting customers. DO NOT BE FOOLED!!! It would be worth spending the extra dollars on reputable car dealers like.
