I ordered a set of brake pads from this company. When I finished the order, they linked me to a site that promised a 10 percent rebate, and savings else where (Shopper Discounts & Rewards). This site does not rebate anything or provide any discounts.

They didn't tell me they would charge me, nor did they ask for any information beyond my name and e-mail. JC Whitney gives them you personal information, to include your Credit Card. Two months past and I received an unexpected 12 dollar charge. I quickly tracked it down, and changed my info, and report the charge.

Also, those brake parts I ordered... When I received them, the box had been resealed without repacking the pads. As a result, the pads were banged around during transit, causing minor damage to pads. (They were new, appeared to be returns.)

To sum up, Stay away from JC Whitney. They are criminals!
