Little Kids With Less Then 6 Months Experience Appraising Cars Inaccurately

I went to carmax for the first time to sell them a car that my child could no longer afford it was purchased new with 2 miles on the car. It is a 2006 pt cruiser with 39,990 miles and a dealer installed remote car starter and an extended warranty of 7/70 we had purchased for 990.00 plus tax. The sticker price was 16,500 plus tax and other fees and 990.00 for the warranty and 450.00 for the remote starter. Plus finance fees

I meet with the salesman, and the appraiser was A young girl maybe 18 - 21 years of age, she test drove my car in the parking lot then whips out her clipboard and opens the hood, as she inspects the vehicle i walked around the Lot of cars with the salesman and of course I go right for the three pt cruisers for sale they have a 2005 w/leather sale price about 12,990 a 2003 price 10,990 and a 2006 no leather with a sold tag on it for 12,990

After an hour of trying to amuse myself I get called to the cubicle for my results first I get the rehearsed speach of how great they are and how they come up with the appraisal (now for the drum roll and the results)
they offered me 3,500 for my two year old car that is in beautiful condition and I do mean Beautiful I even had it detailed before I arrived,

(I still owe 9,000 for this car) the little girl (Appraiser) stated she had about six months experience carmax is a scam, stay away dont waste your time.
(other dealers have offered 9,000 and 9,100 so far toward a trade-in)

Again Carmax offered 3,500 what a Joke stay away
