Had full coverage insurance through the company but wouldn't cover the car in an accident. They placed the outstanding balance on my credit

I purchased a car in 02 from the clearance center on sunrise blvd and i had no credit at the time. I put down $1200 on a 2000 Dodge Intrepid and I got full coverage insurance through them. Less then a month later I was in an accident but it didn't cover anything. So I wondered what did I put my money down on. I couldn't get in contact with anyone and the car dealers gave me the run around. They placed an outstanding balance on my credit for $6,581 and now they are no longer in business. The car had problems soon as I purchased it and went to their shop three times and the problem was never fixed. They cheated me out of my money and then ran when I tried to get it cleared. Since that car went on my credit it has been hard for me to get anything nice without having to put down a good amount for it. I look back and wish that all of it could have never happened. Now they have changed their name and under new ownership as L.P.T.N. That want last long before someone else loses their money!
