Car towing scam?

I work with a little rug cleaning organization, and our store/workplace relies in a functional class community. We've left to get a lengthy period within an nearby pizza double parking lot, that will be large. We patronize this pizza king everyday, and had consumed breakfast there the day of the event.

Employees to get a towing/revovery/car market business requested a worker verbally when they might pull our 4 vehicles which were within the lot. The worker evidently stated yes, therefore without any A.)"no-parking" subscribes B.) no written authorization/agreement C.) caution of any kind, they proceeded to pull our vehicles. They declare that they'll possess the vehicles in seven days if we don't spend $280 in money an item for these vehicles that no body approved to become towed— plus $20 additional for each evening of this week that people exist. The towing business *subsequently* set "no-parking" indicators in TREE STUMPS situated from the property, since the pizza king wouldn't permit them to place them on the property. Did i note that people all have bills from EATING in the pizza king significantly less than three hours before this all began?

So my concerns are:

Is that this authorized? And

What must I do?

I can't afford this crazy charge.
