My Story is exactly the same as two others on this site, Alex of S.I. And Lisa of B'klyn and the couple that was before me in the finance dept. The Salesman signed a contract for $230 a month for 42 months for a 2009 Altima on Saturday. Paid tax and add'l charges.

He made me an appointment to come back on Tues to pick up the car and meet w / the finance officer.

On Tues. The finance officer said that the finance company, some off the wall co. Would require gap insurance that would bring the monthly payment to about $30 more and the end of the lease would require a fee of about $1000 plus the car would have to be returned in showroom condition or they would hit me up for scratched, pings, stains, etc... Not to mention a $250 insurance deductible and 100,000/300,000 coverage. So he convinced me in to a lease with Nissan.

He wanted $299 a month but I got him to agree to 289.99 which is considerably more than $230. This would be a bait and switch SCAM.

The poor couple before me had the same thing happen to them. I'm sure if more people from Staten Island new about this web site, your report listing would be overwhelmed with complaints.
