My husband fights for his country and his wife and child back home are having to deal with the ripoffs of Drive financial, It's not like I don't already have enough to worry about!

My husband and I bought a 2007 HHR on March 30 because he was leaving for a deployment and we needed a dependable car for me and my son. Of course we had a trade-in and paid 2000.00 down plus my step-father is a retired General Motors employee so we were suppose to get I believe around 1200.00 in discount, and my husband being in the military they give 500.00 extra in discount. So wether we got all of that I don't know all I know is that the total amount financed after everything was 20946.73 and our payments was 616.79 and I always paid 620.00 a month. Now that we have had it for almost a year and a half I got a statement that says we still owe 19,181.20. I don't see how we have only paid 1765.53 in that period of time. Our balance should be less than that, you know it is bad when your husband is gone to fight for his country and you are having to deal with a 3 year old that has disabilities and all the income you have coming in is one income for a house hold of three and this company would not even help to refiance our loan nor work with us on payments when times was hard. They are very rude when you call them and they don't even give you a chance to explain your situation. I hope they know that if it wasn't for men and women like my husband they would not have the freedom they have today to treat people the way they do, nor would they have the freedom to live there lives the way that they do. I wish there was someone out there that could give some advice on how to deal with this or get out from under this compmany without oweing alot of late charges or to avoid a repossesion.
