STAR NISSAN, Queens, NY tried to sell me a car that could've killed me and my 3 kids

I am a single mother of 3 small boys, I do not know much about cars. The salesman, Jed Appleby, was pushing this 95 Nissan Pathfinder... He told me it had passed the "101 POINT INSPECTION" and was as good as a brand new car. I test drove the car and hear a noise in the front end.

Asked my boyfriend to please come and look at the car for me. The left front strut was not attached. If i were to take my kids in that car on the highway, we could've been killed. When my boyfriend told him that the strut was completely destroyed, he said, "it wasn't like that five minutes ago", insinuating that we damaged it on the road test (we went around 1 square block).

To top it all off, he is giving us the runaround in returning our $100.00 deposit. Not taking our calls, telling us it takes up to a week to cut a check, giving me all different names of people to contact.

I have to work ten hours to earn $100, I think it should be illegal to mislead people that way, and to keep the deposit from being returned to me is simply unbelievable. Do not do business with these people, their attitude is not "The customer comes first", they survive on the "Hook 'em once, and get 'em the heck outta here" scheme. Terrible Businessmen, terrible people.
