Owner of Moda Salon and Spa's in Georgia steals from "friends". He sold us a stolen vehicle and kept the money. Have you been a victim of Jeff Belles?

Jeff Belles WAS my sister's fiance. He contacted us in regards to buying a car he said he got from friend in Florida who buys cars at auction.
We did our homework, researched the VIN number, did a Car Fax buy back guarantee and thought we were safe.

We exchanged car for a check from our Home Equit loan, our nest egg, and thought it strange that the bank "pushed" a deposit through without waiting the standard 7 days. We had the car checked at our local dealership and activated the Onstar. This alerted the police and then told us where to look for another copy of the VIN number, on the engine. It did not match the one on the window. The police took the car, the insurance company who paid the claim on the stolen vehicle in the first place, took possession and we have our home equity bill.

Jeff would not refund us the money, he just filed a suit to try to get the car back. He told my dad that he was not legally responsible to pay us, nevermind that we were almost family.
He claims he did not know it was stolen but we have since found out that Jeff sold a White Tahoe in August and a black Range Rover in 2007 as well and possibly more vehicles, off Craig's List or Ebay. His brother Constantine Pamboris may be selling cars as well.

We have filed a lawsuit against him but the process is long. If we can prove that he a pattern for selling stolen vehicles, we will all get justice. Please email me with any information you have.
