Failure to honor warranty

The company failed to honor warranty coverage of the Dunlop tires purchased ~18 months prior. Only ~24,000 of the warrantied 60,000 miles had been used, and all for routine on-road driving.

The tires had been inspected and rotated by the company just 5 months before, and they did not indicate that there was any type of problem with the tires, or the car itself that might lead to unusual wear.

In addition, a separate puncture/trauma warranty had been purchased, which they insisted had no applicability to the problem.

The tires wore through and had exposed steel making them unsafe to drive for my family. It appeared that they were headed in the same direction as problems noted recently with Firestone tires.

I believe the company refused to support their own product, and used loopholes in the warranty wording to try and place responsibility back on us the owners.
