Cars & Transport

I saw a sign advertising "AC Special 59.95". I called a week later and mentioned that I needed my AC recharged and asked if they were still running the "AC special". They confirmed that they were still running the "special", and I made an appointment to have my AC recharged.

I dropped off my car on the morning of the appointment and went into the office to give them the keys. I mentioned that I was getting the AC recharged under "the special". They called me a few hours later to tell me that they were done with the AC "inspection" and it would cost $140 to re-charge it. I didn't recharge it, and when I went in to pickup the car they told me that the AC "special" was to inspect the system not recharge it.

They didn't tell me this when I called to make the appointment for a recharge, and they didn't tell me this when I dropped they car off, eventhough I mentioned the "special" on both occasions. I told them that the sign was very misleading and they should change it. It hasn't been changed, and it cost me $60 for something I wasn't even asking for.
