This rental company seems like a good deal, but they provide shabby service and make your life miserable. Basically, they completely blocked out my credit card without telling me that they would; when I tried to contact them about the $1000 extra dollars they charged to my card (for a $200 purchase), no one answered the phone for 2 days.

When I tried to return the car to the place where it was rented, no one was there (it was during a business day, during normal Greece business hours). When I finally found someone to return the car to and asked them about the extra charges, I was told about the blocking, and told that I would get my money back in "10 days, 15 days, maybe." The next day when I checked my card activity, they had charged even more money to it (this is after returning the car). I am still waiting to see my money returned (10 days later).

Now, I understand that businesses block money on credit cards, but it is completely unreasonable to completely block out a credit card. As it happens, that was my only card, and this company's actions almost made it impossible for me to return the car due to lack of monetary funds. Also, when blocking, the company should return the money immediately upon termination of the service... instead they charged more money to my card (I had money added to my card after what they did the first time, that's how they could block it the second time). Because I was traveling in Greece, I'm backed into a corner if my money is not returned. I am back in the United States now, which limits my abilities to deal with the company, especially since they have a habit of ignoring their calls.

This rental company has many branches throughout Greece, I rented the car in Ioannina. The main branch is in Athens, and I was uable to get in contact with either by phone.
