Ripoff

I am filing this report because I bought a car from this car dealership because it was recommended by a friend. I was some what unsure when I first purchased the car but one of the owners assured me that if there were any problems that they would make sure they were taken care of.

When I first purchased the vehicle I did not know that I was responsible for taking the car through inspection. This is the first time that I was aware of this. So when I took it through inspection I EXPECTED it to pass. Well it did not. Mind you the car cost me two-thousand dollars for a 1996 Chev Corsica.

I bought the car because I had problems with my other car. Anyhow I informed the people of the car failing inspection and they said take it to there mechanic and they will let me know what the problem was meanwhile they would give me a loaner. I did just that yet somehow I managed to get a loaner car that had just come from the auction and was in need of some serious work.

The following day I was informed of my car needing $500.00 worth of work. I let the car dealership know and they told me to bring my car back to them because they now had an on sight certified mechanic. I traveled to pick my car up from the other auto shop that I was told was there's and come to find out it was not and they were pretty upset because they looked at my car under the impression they would be fixing it.

When I got there to the body shop I called the dealer to let them know I would be on my way and that is there something else we could do because the loaner car had major problems with the check engine light keep coming on and all. I took my car back to the dealer and one of the owner's Jim Lawson gets indignant with me. He said that I was rude to everyone there and that my business was no longer needed.

I had a payment of $380.00 left to pay on the car he said that I did not needed to worry about it and that the title would be in on Monday or Tuesday. When I tried to find out how I was being rude he rufused to entertain my conversation. I felt that I had been a good customer because I never got my car detailed like they promised, nor did they keep there word on saying that they would take care of me.
