Give a down payment drive off with car, don't qualify and upon returning vehicle, get the run around with the return of your money

On or about June 25, my boyfriend and I attempted to purchase a dodge Magnum, Grey in color. I placed $2500 cash in the hands of the following salesman (Wallace & Mark) who apparently work under Gregg Budd (office manager) at C&S Auto. I drove off the lot that day with a paper tag and no insurance.

On June 30th, I received word that we did not qualify for the loan to purchase the vehicle. We returned the vehicle in perfect condition, Mark and Wallace refuse to return my money and Mark began telling me what financial troubles their business is experiencing and their business account was $109,000 overdrawn because of bounce checks.

Upon the return of the car, I had a an agreement drawn up regarding my return of the vehicle and when I can expect to receive the return of my down payment. Nevertheless, the company is giving us the run around and about the return of the down payment which they are not entitled to. The car was returned over a month ago and sold and as of today, I have yet to see my money.

Do not deal with small car dealers operating out of a warehouse district. Brokers are considered bad people but you don't believe it until you run across one. Everyone has a game and this company's game is "take them for what they have".
