Well where do I start... I went to the Sanford location to try and purchase a car and try and reestablish my credit history which was not the best, well thats where my nightmare began, I made 3 trips to that location to do so and finally on the 3rd day I was a proud owner of a 2007 chevy cobalt, after putting my nephew (my co-signer) on my direct tv bill to show he lived here (which he lives in Indiana) and I could take him off after the deal was done they sent him the paperwork to sign and return, and being told that after 6 months I could always bring the car bk and trade it in if i found I didnt like it, I was sold an extended warranty (i didnt need), was told they wouldnt be able to find a bank that would finance me for a less new car. Recieve the final paperwork and see my nephew is the buyer and Im the co-signer, my payment is 456.02 a month for a 2007 chevy cobalt. Last month I took my car to a reputable car dealer in hopes of trading it in to get a lower car payment (this payment is killing me) that dealer was shocked to see what I ended up paying for this car. He said because of that I would not be able to trade this in anywhere. He said what I have left to pay on this car (after 18 months of payment) is what I was supposed to pay from the get go... So in other words I got a major screwing from this dealer... What if anything can I do to get me from under this deal. I tried to call the bank and refinance it to lower payment some but they said in the state of florida my co-signer had to be local HE WASNT WITH THIS DEAL
