Company overcharges on labor and parts. Provides false troubleshooting diagnostics and bills for that. Misleads customers concerning the repair required.
Parts that can be purchased independent of the shop for under $100.00 are quoted as costing $1000.00.in one scenario the parts had already been replaced by another mechanic and the shop indicated the these "worn" components were probably the problem and what the other mechanic charged a total of $90.00 for they quoted a minimum repair bill of $1,500.00 before labor. They indicated that the part was "buried" deep in the body of the engine yet the other mechanic replaced it by reaching in the front part of the engine and unbolting it with a screwdriver.
