Another Ripoff for Jack Frost Motors Cars

We recently bought a car from Jack Frost Motors Cars. It was purchased on the condition that the hood latch of the vehicle would be fixed. Mr. Billy Potts the salesman wrote a We Owe You clause in the contract to repair the latch.

Needless to say Mr. Potts did not follow through with his promise to fix the latch on the vehicle. My 16 year old son was driving the car and the engine hood flew up and shattered the windshield and completly destroyed the hood and the roof of the car. He could have been killed if he had not been driving the lowere speed. He was very shaken up and we had to use our insurance company to pay for repairs to the vehicle with an out of pocket expense of $500 deductible. The repairs totalled in excess of $2300. That was after paying $6,800 for the used vehicle. The insurance adjuster said the latch was faulty and was not repaired properly and he took pictures of the part.

This dealership is completly dishonest and has made no attempt to resolve the issue of breach of contract. I am planning a lawsuit against this company so that another person does not fall into the same trap and end up dead as a result of Billy Potts negligence or lack of concern on the part of the customer. What ever happened to the phrase the customer is always right.

Mr. Potts has pulled several other scams in the past and was said to have been in hiding in Florida for a year or two before coming back to Georgia and trying his scams all over again. If I were him I would not be able to sleep at night, but I have a conscience.
