Suzuki My motorcycle was repossessed illegally

I was only three payments behind when I received a call from HSBC wanting me to turn over the motorcycle. I never received the letter HSBC sent, claiming I had forty days to get current on my payments. I misplaced my credit agreement, so I do not know what the policy states. Please help.
