On 6/20/08, I Vera Peskan, spoke to the owner-operator, Gina Humanes, pertaining to purging of all hoses of my AC. A rebuilt compressor had been installed, previously, with the admonishment from the mechanic to purge and/or install new hoses, before performing any work on AC.
2. I signed a work order for $199.15, with presumption, acquiescence, from Gina, to purge all hoses.
3She sent her mechanic to begin work. Before he began, I also admonished him to purge all hoses, before attempting to do any further work on the AC.
4. Work completed, I paid with check card # 4828 5359 5109 4025.
5. I was informed AC was in good working order. I placed my hand on the vent. It was not cold, but I assumed it would take a while to get cold. Within one mile of leaving the garage, the windows had to be opened. It was not working.
6. I immediately called the garage, was instructed to bring it back. I took a day off from my work as a self-employed cleaner, $30 per hour, and returned. It was worked on again. It appeared to be in good working order, upon leaving the garage and parked until the next day.
7. Upon turning the AC on, I heard what sounded like metal flying, immediately turned the AC off and went back to the garage.
8. The compressor was destroyed.
9. The hoses, I have been informed, were never PURGED!
10. Mechanics refused to afix the cowl, lost screws and left interior in the condition of attached photo.
11. Gina instructed to bring it back and she would install a new compressor for another $200.
12. I do not accept this proposal, since the hoses have yet to be purged!
I, the plaintiff, Vera P, hereby demand full refund and damages in the amount of two work days 16 hours at $30 per hour, $480, plus $199.15, for a total of $679.15
Further, I Vera P, submit this COMPLAINT against Gina Humanes for exploitation of avulnerable adult, as certified by DCF Investigative Report Investigative Report #2005314147 States in part, MS. P, [the plaintiff is a vulnerable adult due to a mental impairment. Sealed Record.
