Sold me a defective scooter and won't replace it or refund my money

Paid $2200 for a Scout 250CC Scooter from these guys. They charged me $179 for home delivery to get it to my house. I tracked the shipment and it stopped at a terminal 100 miles from my house. I called customer service and they said I needed to pay an additonal $75 for a tailgate lift so the scooter could be deliverd to my home.

I told them I had already paid $179 for home delivery, but they insisted I still need an additional $75. They would not budge. I called the shipping company and they said it would be $25 and they would get it to me next day, which they did. Once sooter was here it took me 3 hours to put together.

I gassed her up, charged the battery, and she started up right away. I adjusted the idle and all seemed well. We took it for a couple of spins around the block and then she died in the drive way and she has not started up since then. Key on, brake lever pulled in, but nothing happens when I push starter button. I recharge battery, check everything I can as far as electrical.

The owners manual is worthless, written in some pidgen english, that makes little sense and is not detailed at all. There is no service manual to be gotten, only technical help from LG Wholesale. I am somewhat mechanically capable, but they had me taking aprt the scooter and checking and testing items I know little or nothing about.

Still does not work, won't start. I called customer service to say that I am sending scooter back. They say I am SOL, that the terms and conditions say I cannot return the scooter. They will only replace defective parts. Howver to this point I cannot find what the defective part is. My thought is that the whole damned thing is defective. I am going to call my credit card company and see if I can get soem recourse. For now I have a $2200 pice of junk that will not do anything. Can anyone help or advise me?
