I ahve helped but get no help in return

I have a car out there in Westland MI that is in my name and the co owner has not made no payments on it since March of 08. They have sent me letters on how much he owes I have been co operating with them I even drove over 83 miles to find out where this person is working and I told them when he is woeking now they do not want to send no one down there to get the car because of gas mileage that is not my fault. I have so operated with them all this time that is my credit now that is messing up I gave them all the information on this person even the place of his employment the number to the place to. The only thing I did not do was try to find out where he lived for my security and safety. And another thing is they gave him this car knowing he did not have no license they were dealing with him not me he had all the money down on the car and then they messed up on his payments they told him 80.00 a week and then it come to find out it was 100.00 a week. Now they told me thier financial people will not go get the car even though he owes over 2000.00 dollars. Now what else am I to do I have helped them all I could. It is up to them now am I right?
