Sold wrecked truck without telling us, found out he also sold a rebuilt truck to someone without telling them

Stay away from this used car dealer. Extremely poor customer service, lies to prospective buyers and even worse after you buy! We bought a vehicle from Joey Janes in Feb maybe a month later is when we started running into problems. Right off the bat, we noticed the truck drove very lopsided and began wondering what was going on. Not too long after, we started trying to sell the truck as it was too small and cramped for us to be comfortable in. Car lot after car lot, individual after individual and even an auction, all we could get out of people was that we were asking too much for something that had been rolled over and been re-painted. Rolled over, what? What in the world was everyone talking about we wondered to ourselves as we had never been told it was wrecked. Which led us to running a Carfax report that stated it had both been rolled over AND been re-painted. The roll over caused structural damage which now explained the lopsided driving! So, to the phone and to the lot we went.

When we very first called him and reported to him what we had found out, he told us to come on up to the lot so we could see if he had anything else we wanted and he'd trade us back. This seemed great, until we got there. We weren't really interested in anything he had as they were all either really old or really new but we still hadn't given up hope! In his opinion, he tried working with us, but in our opinion, he did everything but that. We paid somewhere around $8,000 for the truck and all he wanted to trade for was $12,000 or more which would leave us giving this lousy man even more money. Why in the world would we want to do that? I guess he thought he was working with young individuals so he could scam us out of even more money, who knows. After we told him we wouldn't settle for paying more money, he told us in the next few days he would try to find something else that was around the price we paid for ours and around the same miles. So we waited and gave him his few days and hadn't heard anything back so we called and of course he gave us the excuse that he hadn't found anything yet, when I'm sure he hadn't even looked. That's where we decided to take a different route and contact the Better Business Bureau yet, he still isn't willing to work with us. We're currently seeking out other legal actions.

Might I add, we seen the guy that bought our previous truck from Joey Janes at Easy Auto Sales (we traded it in on top of the money we paid) and go figure, Joey Janes didn't let this customer know that the truck he bought had a rebuilt title!

Please stay away from this place, I'm sure we're not the only ones who have or are going through this, we just choose to keep going until something is done! Especially when a vehicle you're still paying for is sitting in the driveway not getting drove because of the safety hazards.
