Stolen Ipod&$300 worth of Ipod equipment

So I decided to go to Jiffy Lube in Tulsa, Oklahoma 2 days ago for a regular oil change. I met with my mother and girlfriend before to receive money and catch up. I forgot my ipod in my car, which both my mother and girlfriend said they viewed before getting my oil changed. Afterwards, I drove off of the Jiffy Lube lot and sure enough: I look into my holster for my Ipod and it's gone. I then contact the manager and he SOUNDS extremely concerned, saying he will talk to the guy. I then call back a day later and he doesn't even remember what I'm talking about. I send a friendly reminder his way and he then recalls the event saying, "oh yes, the videocamera." I was like, "no sir, it was an MP3 player... You know... Plays music." He really did not remember anything, which amazes me. So I am now taking the Jiffy Lube to small claims court where hopefully I will get my money or ipod back. Btw... I recorded the conversation.
