Extreme Motocars
Sold Me A Lemon and Refused to Honor Warranty

Cars & Transport

I needed a car, but I was short on cash so I was referred to Extreme Motors because I was told they sell "decent" used cars, with a weekly payment that guarentees the car to be paid off within a year. That was ideal for me.

After looking around for a bit I fell in love with a 1993 Infiniti J30t. The sales associate assured me the car was in very good condition. The total cost of the car $5100, which required a down payment of $2000 and weekly payments of $65, to be directly withdrawn from my bank account. At the time of purchase I was given a three-month warranty.

After paying for the taxes and tags needed for the car, my $65 a week payments began coming out. About a month after I purchased the car, it died. I brought it back to the dealership; however, the sales associate told me their mechanic did not have enough knowledge to know what was wrong with the car. He gave me the option to go to my own mechanic and get it fixed. After putting the money out to get the car repaired, the total for the repairs would be deducted from the total of the car.

I traveled for work and was very strapped for money. The car would not stay running; therefore, it would not pass inspection, meaning that I would have to pay for towing. I did not have the money for towing or repairs, that was the main reason I went to Extreme Motors, LLC.

I offered, instead of getting the car fixed, to pay an extra $1000 for a new car, as long as my payments towards the Infiniti were taken into account. I was refused and told the only way I could fix the problem was to get a mechanic to fix the car.in the meantime, Extreme Motors stopped withdrawing the weekly payments of $65 on their own.

After seeing I was getting nowhere with this company, I contacted a lawyer. He advised me to get all my receipts and paperwork together and take Extreme Motors to Small Claims Court. When I went back to Extreme Motors to get all the receipts of the automatic withdraws, the secretary wanted to know why. After learning I had contacted a lawyer, Extreme Motors advised my girlfriend that the car had been repoed.

Extreme Motors is a scandalous business and is only out to use people. Do not go there to purchase a car, they will rip you off.
