Cottman Transmission
What a scam

They agreed to remove my transmission for 385.00 and then wanted 900 to replace the clutch presure plate and the sleve cylender and master pump. I didnt have the money so i told them to just replace the slave cyl. That was leaking. J R stated that he would not do this. Either I payed the 900 bucks or he was going to put the transmission back together with the bad cyl. His mechinic stated that they should put the transmission in the back and push the car into the alley with no charge.

I feel that I was raped by J R and cottman transmission. I even told J R that i would sigh a release and did not want a warrenty on the slave cyl. But he insested that i pay the 900 buck that i did not have. What a scam. They did not tell me before they tore the transmisson out that I could not just replace the part that I wanted to replace, it was all or nothing. JR also stated that a laywer woulldnt not take a case like this so I stated that I would take J R of Cottman Transmission at 3192 west broad street columbus ohio 43204 to small claims which he laughed and I also stated that the better buisness b would here my case. I was not asking for any thing except that I get treated like a human being and get what my money pays for. When J R refused to put the slave cyl on i feel that he riped me off.

The thing that really bothers me is how many seniors and young people has J R taken to the cleaners. 385.00 is not a lot of money but if I wanted nothing for my money i would have given it to the homeless shelter for food. This is the first time I have delt with cottman transmission and will never ever use them again!!
